Meet the Dean- Dilshod Ismailov

Dilshod Ismailov is the dean of the Faculty of Management at Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) and an associate professor (PhD) in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. He was appointed dean in 2024 after eight years as deputy dean of the faculty (2016–2024), and he previously served as deputy dean of the Faculty of Banking (2014–2016).

A scholar–administrator, Dr. Ismailov’s teaching and research encompass international trade, global value chains, commodity markets, and WTO accession processes. Dean Dilshod Ismailov is the author of two books-International Logistics and Management of Investment Projects-that bridge applied management and trade logistics for emerging markets. Furthermore, he has published more than ten articles, which cluster under the topics of Trade & Logistics, Institutions & Development, and Digital Transformation of Markets. He has contributed to national research projects on innovative potential within industry and on value creation and cross-border capital flows in Uzbekistan.

Dr. Ismailov obtained a PhD in Economics (2018) and an MSc in International Business (2010) from TSUE, after completing a BA in Foreign International Relations from the Namangan Engineering and Economics Institute (2008).
