Foreign applicants can apply online to the Tashkent State University of Economics and are admitted based on a university-conducted interview, which can include remote formats such as Zoom and Woow for PRC citizens. This process assesses proficiency in mathematics and a foreign language, fully in accordance with the Regulation “On the Admission of Foreign Citizens to the Tashkent State University of Economics” and the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan—27 June 2017 “On the Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for Admission, Transfer, Reinstatement, and Expulsion of Students in Higher Educational Institutions” (see: https://lex.uz/en/docs/-3244181?ONDATE=10.05.2024%2000) and “On Improving the Procedure for Admission and Education of Foreign Citizens in Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
To apply to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens must submit the following documents to the Admissions Committee of the relevant higher educational institution:
• an application for admission;
• the original educational documents indicating the subjects studied and the grades (scores) obtained in examinations;
• a medical certificate of health;
• a national passport (with a valid visa) or a birth certificate;
• six photographs measuring 4×6 cm.
The State Commission for Admission to Educational Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan reviews interview results, and final admission is confirmed by the Rector’s order. Successful candidates must personally submit all original documents during enrollment (for students in distance-learning programs, originals are required between semesters). Interview results will be communicated by email and posted on the University’s official website.
