Student Support Services

In line with the Mission and Vision of Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), the Student Support Services are created to transform lives by encouraging academic success, personal growth, professional development, and overall well-being. These services support students throughout their journey, from initial awareness of the University to the campus experience, graduation, and beyond.

Comprehensive Academic and Personal Support

TSUE provides a wide range of support services to help every student succeed. Academic support includes mentoring, tutoring, and advising programs, while tailored learning options assist students with disabilities by offering specialized technical aids and alternative assessment methods.

Students also benefit from resources that improve their campus experience, such as housing support, access to health and wellness programs, library and IT services, and sports and recreation facilities. Career preparation is aided by Student Career Services, which offers career counseling, resume workshops, internship opportunities, and networking events to help students succeed professionally.

Inclusivity and Equity in Student Support

TSUE is dedicated to promoting fairness and inclusion in higher education. Students from low-income backgrounds, those with special needs, and individuals with exceptional talents receive both financial aid and academic support. Assistance is available for students who:

Require social protection;

Possess exceptional talents;

Are registered with Social Security services;

Participate in extracurricular social activities.

Have first- or second-degree disabilities.

By providing tailored services, TSUE ensures that both local and international students adapt smoothly and succeed in an inclusive learning environment.

Support Centers for Minority Groups

To further promote inclusivity, TSUE has created dedicated Support Centers for minority groups. These centers aim to foster a safe and empowering environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported. The goal is to build a campus culture that celebrates diversity, advances social justice, and provides equal opportunities for everyone.

Objectives of the Support Centers:

Safe Space: Provide tailored counseling and guidance to address the unique challenges faced by minority students.

Inclusive Community: Promote dialogue and mutual understanding among students from different backgrounds.

Educational Programs: Conduct training, seminars, and workshops on cultural sensitivity, unconscious bias, and inclusive leadership.

This includes the Center for Coordination of Activities of Five Initiatives and Clubs; the Center for the Creation of Educational Content and Multimedia Products; the Center for Digital Learning Technologies; the Information Resource Center; the Acceleration of the “Digital Finance” Center; the Center for Professional Development; the Sports and Health Center; the Career Center; the Registrar’s Office; the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality, and Education; the Department of Gifted Students; the Tutor Coordination Department; and the Department for Coordinating Student Housing.
