Tashkent- the capital of Uzbekistan and one of Central Asia’s largest cities-is the country’s political, economic, scientific, and cultural centre. With a population exceeding 3 million (as of 2024) and covering an area of 327 square kilometres, the city combines a rich historical heritage with modern urban development, accounting for approximately 19% of the national GDP. As a historic crossroads of the Great Silk Road, Tashkent is home to notable sites such as the Hazrati Imam Complex, Kukaldash Madrasah, museums, and national theatres-living spaces of culture, as well as attractions for visitors.

Three Urban Campuses
Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) has three main campuses, all situated within Tashkent. This multi-campus setup brings students near key civic, cultural, and business districts-supporting internships, employer engagement, and a lively student experience.
Prime Location & Access
TSUE’s main sites are easily accessible by public transport-about 10 minutes on foot to “Xalqlar Do‘stligi” station and roughly 5 minutes to “O‘zbekiston” station-plus multiple bus routes. Students benefit from immediate access to city amenities and major landmarks, including Muqumiy Theatre, Magic City, Tashkent City Park, shopping centres, food courts, and historic as well as newly constructed mosques.

Student Accommodation
TSUE offers on-campus accommodation in 8 residence halls housing over 2,950 students. The dormitories include study rooms, communal areas, and modern amenities designed to create a supportive living and learning environment for both local and international students.
