World Economy and International Economic Relations Department Strengthens International Recognition through ACBSP Accreditation
From 11 to 13 June 2026, Dr. Farkhod Abdurakhmonov, Associate Professor in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), participated in the ACBSP Conference ’26, held in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.
The annual conference was organised by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and brought together representatives of higher education institutions, business schools, academic leaders, faculty members, accreditation experts, and quality assurance professionals from around the world.
Dr. Abdurakhmonov attended the conference as a representative of Tashkent State University of Economics and the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. His participation was particularly significant given the successful ACBSP accreditation of TSUE’s Bachelor’s degree programme in World Economy and International Economic Relations.
The programme is officially recognised as one of the ACBSP-accredited programmes at Tashkent State University of Economics. This achievement marks an important milestone in the University’s efforts to strengthen educational quality, expand international recognition, and implement internationally accepted principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Dr. Abdurakhmonov’s participation in the ACBSP Conference also provided an opportunity to represent TSUE within the international ACBSP academic community and to celebrate the successful accreditation of the World Economy and International Economic Relations programme.
Participation in the conference also enabled Dr. Abdurakhmonov to exchange professional experience with representatives of international higher education institutions and to explore opportunities for further academic cooperation, research collaboration, faculty and student mobility, and the exchange of best practices.
The programme's successful ACBSP accreditation and TSUE’s participation in the international conference mark another important step toward enhancing the University’s international visibility, academic quality, and competitiveness.
