TSUE Hosts Final Conference of Erasmus Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Business and Finance (ECESBF)

              On September 17, 2024, Tashkent State University of Economics hosted the final conference of ECESBF, organized by the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations. The event brought together representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, the Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President, European scholars, and partner-institution experts to review multi-year project results and exchange best practices from around the world.

Discussions emphasized sustainable finance strategies, curriculum development, and digital transformation, with a particular focus on green finance and opportunities for carbon credit mechanisms in Uzbekistan. The conference introduced a practical Green Finance guide for policymakers, the business community, and the public-highlighting ECESBF’s role in enhancing Uzbekistan-EU cooperation and promoting a transition toward sustainable economic growth.
