Students majoring in World Economy and International Economic Relations and Corporate Governance at Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) visited the World Bank’s Office in Tashkent. The educational visit, organized as part of the International Economic Organizations course, was led by Nilufar Ismailova, Head of the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations, and Dr. Muhammad Balbaa.

During the meeting, Mohamed Nada, Senior Urban Specialist at the World Bank Group, provided students with valuable insights into the organization's mission, structure, and key areas of activity. In particular, he highlighted the World Bank's role in promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, improving governance, and ensuring sustainable development, as well as its ongoing cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Throughout the visit, special emphasis was placed on bridging theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Dr. Muhammad Balbaa emphasized that direct engagement with international financial institutions broadens students' understanding of the global economic system and enables them to gain deeper insights into their academic subjects through real-world examples.

The visit provided future economists and corporate governance specialists with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of international economic organizations while strengthening the connection between academic education and professional practice.

At the conclusion of the meeting, university representatives and students expressed their sincere gratitude to Mohamed Nada for the informative discussion and his valuable assistance in organizing the visit.
