Professor Farkhod Abdurakhmonov’s Academic Mobility in the USA
Associate Professor Farkhod Abdurakhmonov from the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at Tashkent State University of Economics successfully took part in the Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) run by the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent and the American Councils for International Education in Uzbekistan. After submitting his application, he passed the required exams and interviews. Based on the final selection results, he received a grant for a professional development fellowship at the University of Arkansas (USA) from August to December 2024.
The University of Arkansas is recognized among the world’s top higher education institutions, ranking 501–600 in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024, 401–500 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), and within the top 300 worldwide in Management, Business, and Economics. The FEP program aims to promote international academic exchange and career development.
During his fellowship, Professor Abdurakhmonov actively participated in academic activities, attended scientific conferences in his field, and gained valuable insights into the U.S. higher education system. He also delivered presentations at a conference hosted by Furman University and a scholarly seminar at the University of Kansas.
