Cultural Diversity in Action: Our Department at Navro‘z Fest 2026
On March 27, 2026, our university proudly celebrated the Navro‘z Festival, a vibrant event dedicated to cultural diversity and international friendship. As part of this celebration, our faculty and department actively participated by presenting the rich traditions of the Caucasus region.
The exhibition featured a wide range of cultural elements, including traditional Caucasian cuisine, national clothing, and handmade items that reflect the unique heritage of the region. One of the highlights of our presentation was the performance of the traditional Caucasian dance “Lezginka,” which captivated the audience with its energy, rhythm, and expressive movements.
In addition to the performances, our team organized informative displays and cultural showcases that introduced visitors to the history, customs, and artistic expressions of Caucasian peoples. The presentation was met with great interest and appreciation from both students and faculty members.
Our department demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication throughout the festival, contributing to the overall success of the event. Participation in Navro‘z Fest not only strengthened cultural awareness but also fostered a spirit of unity and mutual respect among participants.
