A regular meeting of the Cooperation Council was held at Tashkent State University of Economics for the bachelor’s degree program “World Economy and International Economic Relations” as well as the master’s specialties “World Economy” and “Foreign Economic
The meeting was attended by the university administration, heads of the relevant departments, members of the Cooperation Council, industry experts, as well as representatives of leading employer organizations and ministries operating within the sector.
During the meeting, participants thoroughly analyzed the criteria for training modern and competitive specialists who are highly demanded in the real sector of the economy in accordance with the rapidly changing requirements of the labor market. In this regard, issues related to integrating compulsory and elective subjects with practical training, as well as adapting the educational process to contemporary requirements, were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the importance of systematically involving leading industry representatives in the educational process and organizing master classes with their participation in order to strengthen theoretical knowledge through practical skills.
