Maaz Ahmad, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at Tashkent State University of Economics.
He earned his Ph.D. in Regional Economics from Wuhan University, China (2024), with a dissertation titled “The Impact of Global Value Chain Participation on Manufacturing Structure in the Context of the Belt and Road Initiative.” He also holds a master's degree in Economics from Islamia College University, Peshawar (2018), and a bachelor's degree in Economics from International Islamic University, Islamabad (2015).
In September 2024, he was appointed Associate Professor at TSUE, where he teaches courses on research methodology, foreign investment, and international economics. He previously served as a Lecturer at Government Degree College Hayatabad, Pakistan (2021–2022).
